TARGIT Positioned in the Magic Quadrant

After almost 14 years as a pure-play business intelligence developer, Danish TARGIT has been included as a niche player in IT research company Gartner's prestigious "Magic Quadrant" (see "Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms" by Gartner, January 2010). The inclusion comes after an analysis of TARGIT's business intelligence solution, TARGIT BI Suite.

"We feel the inclusion means that we are being recognized as one the 15 most important developers in the world within our industry", says TARGIT CEO Morten Sandlykke. "We are both happy and proud to be accepted in that society, and we are certain that this analysis will facilitate our growth in the global market".

The Gartner report, "Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms", shows an “accelerated interest in pure-play BI platforms. This is particularly true for innovative vendors filling needs left unmet by the larger vendors.” The reasons for this are the new economic realities and the need to quickly demonstrate business value, states the report.

TARGIT CTO Morten Middelfart is happy that Gartner recognized TARGIT in the report. "We want to give business insight in fewest clicks, and we feel Gartner recognizes this - not least because of the users' judgments of TARGIT BI Suite".
