Holds Inaugural Global Interactive Individual Shareholder Event

    ArcelorMittal is pleased to announce a global interactive
shareholder event which for the first time will feature realtime
dialogue with the Company's management via a virtual reality website.

    On 17 June individual shareholders will be able meet and interact
with Lakshmi N. Mittal, Chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal, to discuss
the company's strategy and business outlook as well as changes in the
steel industry.

    Shareholders will be able to meet management in person at Company
headquarters in Luxembourg. But, in a first for the company,
individual shareholders will also be able to participate in a realtime
dialogue with Mr. Mittal via Second Life, the virtual reality website.
Second Life is a 3D virtual world created by its residents. It
was developed by Linden Research and launched in June 2003.

    Mr. Mittal, said: "I am very pleased to have an opportunity to

outlook during this event. This will be the first event of its kind
for ArcelorMittal incorporating a fully interactive online platform.
The combination of a physical meeting with access to a virtual meeting

    ArcelorMittal's platform on Second Life has been designed with
maximum transparency for participants in mind and includes the
following features which will be accessible before, during and after
the event:

    --  the ability engage in dialogue with the company after the
