( BW)(CA-ORION-HEALTH) Orion Systems Updates Name to Orion Health, in
Response to Delivering Industry-Specific Solutions and Broadening
Worldwide Presence; Focus on its commitment to the Healthcare sector,
rapid growth, and customer successes drive company expansion

    Business Editors/Technology Writers

    OXFORD, United Kingdom--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2006--Orion
Systems International, a provider of applications and tools that
integrate and enhance existing healthcare information systems, today
formally announced its new company name, Orion Health.
Reflecting the ongoing commitment to delivering innovative
solutions designed to aid the healthcare industry, and underscoring
the increased focus on delivering sector-specific solutions and
customer support, the new name comes into effect immediately. The
re-brand is being undertaken with the full participation and support
of Orion Health offices located in six countries worldwide.
"Our new name, Orion Health, demonstrates our commitment to
delivering information systems that are designed specifically for the
healthcare industry," said Ian McCrae, CEO of Orion Health. "With our
sector focus and expertise, healthcare providers are quickly able to
meet their unique and ever-growing technology needs with Orion
Health's applications."

    Increased Presence in Europe

Orion continues to enjoy strong growth in Europe as indicated by
the successful inaugural European Orion User Group held in Harrogate,
United Kingdom last week. As a result of the event's success, a second
event will take place in September for Orion's growing base of users
across Europe.
Orion is working with NHS Trusts in England on tailored solutions
to meet the Trusts' commitments to integrate hospital IT systems with
local and national infrastructure and deliver better clinical care as
set out by the NHS Connecting for Health programme.
Orion's growth is also evident by the new sales and technical
support office that has been established in Spain to support the
increasing enthusiasm from regional government health IT groups that
are utilizing Orion Health solutions. Orion's technologies are being
implemented in Spain to facilitate secure sharing of healthcare data
across entire regions and to support improved clinical practice within
individual hospitals.
"Globally, the healthcare information technology market is in an
extremely dynamic phase of growth," said McCrae. "We believe
healthcare providers worldwide are ready to shift from general
solutions to employing industry-specific healthcare technology, such
as Orion Health's clinical portal and workflow solutions, which will
increase efficiency through improved internal and external
communication, reduce costs by streamlining implementation and
maintenance, and simplify overall business processes by eliminating
duplication of effort throughout the system."

Growing Footprint in North America and Asia

In North America, Orion Health today opened the doors to its
first-ever U.S. headquarters, located in Santa Monica, California. The
office includes sales, marketing, and customer service that will focus
on three significant RHIO projects underway in the United States and
Canada, deploying a phased implementation strategy to ensure each
project's success.
Building off a platform of strong growth in Australia and New
Zealand, a physical presence in Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea are being
considered.
